Namibia offers idyllic tropical and desert locations that are incomparable. The most spectacular landscapes for filmmakers can be found in the Namib Desert and surrounding areas. Directors such as George Miller, Roland Emmerich, Michael Bay, John Moore, Alex Kurtzman, to name but a few, have used Namibia as a backdrop for their feature films.
